Cherry Cobbler

Ingredients
  • 1 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1½ sticks butter, melted
  • 6 cups pitted Cherries (thawed and drained if using frozen)
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1½ teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl mix together the oats, flour, brown sugar and butter until crumbly.
  2. In another bowl mix the Cherries, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and lemon juice and mix well.
  3. Pour cherry mixture into a buttered 2 quart casserole dish. Top with the oat mixture.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
